mastered classes(?)
ok...well...on ff5, i "mastered" a class, and little stars go over that classes head. (for the character that mastered it) what does this mean? does it do anything for gameplay? or is it just for show?

Re: mastered classes(?)
I think it makes the character stronger than a "non-master" character, I masterd all classes with all chars but I dont understand it quite yet.... don't think it matters really much for gameplay

Re: mastered classes(?)
i figured it out! the lady in the beginners room, instead of pushing you out psychotically, explains "mastered classes". basically, if youre bare or mime, you can select the abilities of your character's mastered classes, and you get two free ability slots! spectacular!

If you master all the classes, and switch to bare, you can use every skill and every magic

Re: mastered classes(?)
When you master a job you see a star over that characters head this means if the mastered job has a job characteristic the mime or the bare will inherit these abilities without having to use these in their ability slots.
If you master all jobs you can get a bare or a mime with all the characteristics of all the jobs which makes these the ultimate jobs. |
