The Shady Lottery
 

Welcome to the Shady Lottery!

The Shady Lottery is a weekly lottery, once a week a winner is picked at random. The base prize money is currently set to 500 Gil, and each ticket costs 50 Gil. Buying a ticket increases the prize money by the ticket cost, and buying more than 1 ticket of course increases your chances of winning.

The Shady Lottery is currently on hold. The winner history is as follows:

Lyde Lyde, to buy a ticket you go to RPG -> Lottery in the top right, you don't post in here.

Since the last 3 lotteries only a single person have bought any tickets, I'm putting the lottery on hold for now. Not much of a point really.

I'm gonna start a poll to see how many would buy a ticket if I started the lottery again. Give it a week and see how many ppl would :)

I care about everyone's vote. If there is enough interest, I'll start the lottery up again, if not, there's really not much point. It's like reasonimalive, he won the last few lotteries solely because he was the only person who bought tickets, so it was free money for him.

And It says in the first post in this thread. A ticket costs 50 gil, and it doesnt matter how many you've bought, and you can buy as many as you like. The prize money is 500 plus the total value of all tickets bought.

Is there a poll on wether you would or wouldn't buy. If I'm in between levels were I can't buy any new equipment I have a bunch of money to blow so I'd like the lottery a bunch. It'd be nice when I'm low on money too.

Because noone was buying tickets. The RPG will be updated at some stage in the near future anyway, and then everything will (as far as I know) start over from scratch, so don't feel there is much point starting it up again now. The other admins may if the wish I guess :)

Go ahead if you want, but it may be wasted time if the future upgrade wipes all stats (which it will as far as I know). Still, if you're having fun, why stop?

You won cause you were the only one buying tickets? :p Anyway, I've stepped down as a moderator due to lack of time and motivation, so I couldn't run the lottery even if I wanted to. Maybe one of the other mods/admins want to it, but I don't know.

Shadow... people are starting to say that they'd like to see the Shady Lottery back and that they'd participate in it... maybe it's time to ask a mod to re-open it? :rolleyes:

BTW: I got all my gil from winning 3 lotteries in a row! Then I put em all in teh bank for a few months ~ and voila!

Even though its pretty darn easy to get unlimited gil (1,874,000 gils in the bank = unlimited gil)
It would still be fun to have a lottery just for bragging rights. :rolleyes: Maybe if you got a trophey with the gil. Or a cookie. :cool:

Wow T.B. I knew there were people w/more gil out there...now we just have to find a way to cash it in w/Shaggy for prizes. XD
