Re: A question or two.
I would just wait for the DS version. It's pretty much exactly the same as the original, except with much, much more challenging bosses and an ability system that allows you to customize your...

So basically the options are between something that takes no more effort then being able to run a search on macrochan and something that actually requires a certain degree of artistic ability. I...

Re: Dragon Warrior Series *Yay!* = D
Dragon Warrior III and IV are considered by most to be the highlights of the series but to be honest, V, VI and VIII all seem just as good from what I've played of them. I would probably go with IV,...

Re: Favorite Quickening?
dappa was probably thinking of Vaan's final quickening Pyroclasm. It's the only one that ends in a giant ball of flame, at least. Balthier's last quickening is Element of Treachery, which ends in...

Re: Dragon Warrior Series *Yay!* = D
Class changing would have been more appealing if it didn't involve having to re-level all your characters. Leveling up takes forever in Dragon Quest games. Having to do it twice is a nightmare.

Re: Dragon Warrior Series *Yay!* = D
Dragon Quest V and VI are both for the SNES. They were never released outside of Japan, but there is a 100% complete fantranslation of DQV and a 96% complete fantranslation of DQVI that can easily be...

Re: Dragon Warrior Series *Yay!* = D
The games are pretty decent. It's not my favorite JRPG series by any means and I tend to agree with the notion that once you've played one DQ game you've pretty much played them all. However, Dragon...

Re: FF7 Rom & Emulator
For the record, there is no such thing as a Final Fantasy VII 'ROM'. The term 'ROM' only applies if the game images is taken from a cartridge. FFVII was a CD game, so the term to use would be 'CD...

Re: Important - help requested
Personally, I would just sell everything separately, possibly selling in a few of your more common games with the consoles. If your dead set on selling a few of them together though, you might try...

Re: Important - help requested
I would, at the very least, suggest selling your rarer games separately. Dragon Warrior IV, if it's just the cart by itself, would probably sell pretty easily on ebay at around $50 US. For a complete...

If you mean Kat, I'm not entirely sure that's what she meant.
Not that I would blame her if she did leave. I mean let's face it; pretty much every other popular FF forum is more active then this...

Re: "All Hail the Throne"
By 'used by date' I meant that this thread has been around for a month now, which is about as long as a question thread should ever last. With that in mind I'll make this the last question I answer:...

Although I would say this thread is past it's used by date now. A month is more then enough.

I don't think you quite got what I was saying. Cloud, Tifa etc aren't incorporated into side games like Dirge of Cerberus because their character types demand a large amount of attention that would...

Re: Yuffie Kisaragi... -_-"
Yuffie is a throwaway comic relief character that one can easily integrate into a game without having to come up with a long, melodramatic plot arc to justify her presence.
Plus despite her...
